The Australian Early Childhood Sustainability Alliance (The Alliance)

The Alliance was established in 2016 to unite the professional, not for profit Early Childhood Education for Sustainability (ECEfS) networks across Australia as an advocacy voice for sustainability in the early education sector.  The state-based networks have been offering localised sustainability expertise for educators over many years, the first EEEC Vic Inc was established in 1992. By working as a national alliance aimed at enhancing the capabilities within ECEfS the crucial role of early childhood education in driving the transformative changes necessary for worldwide sustainability is strengthened. Furthermore, it reinforces Australia’s prominent position in the field of international ECEfS research and practice.
